Using Windows XP to share an Internet connection:
- Go to Network Connections and select the internet connection to share:
Example: “Telcel 3G Mexico” and right click to properties.
- Select the advanced tab and check the box “Allow other network users to…”
- Click on settings in the same tab and in the “Internet Connection Sharing” area.
- Check off: “DHCP (67)”, “DNS” and “Web Server (HTTP)”
- Click ok and exit.
Note: the IP is forcibly 192.1.68.0.1 and there is no way to change it if you want it to work
This setup will activate the IP address manager.
